Snorkel Trip

My recommendations for Maui

The Airport

So I’ll admit that I’m probably a little spoiled since PDX was rated the #1 airport in the nation, but… the airport in Kahului leaves quite a bit to be desired.  It’s old and outdated, their security lines are always unreasonably long, there are few options to buy food, drinks, magazines, etc. and they charge you for WiFi.  You’re better off eating before you get there and packing food with you if you can.  Be aware that you can’t bring fresh fruit in or out of the islands, so keep that in mind – although dried fruit is allowed.  You can buy water at the little food court area after security or at the small store (if you have cash – ’cause that’s all they take).  A small bottle of water at the only Starbucks is nearly $4!

Nat, I love your site. It’s clean (looking…you can have dirty content on here, right?), funny and informative. Just like you ;)
